Jon Katzenbach is the world’s expert on team performance, leadership development and organizational change and development. He brings executive director level thinking and perspectives to management conferences across the world.
Mr. Katzenbach graduated with distinction from Stanford University with a B.A. in economics and earned an M.B.A. from Harvard University Graduate School of Business, where he was a Baker Scholar.
Jon’s published works include The Wisdom of Teams and Real Change Leaders, and Teams at the Top, and his latest book Peak Performance, on higher workforce performance. In addition, he is editor of The Work of Teams (a Harvard Business Review compendium).
Katzenbach filled numerous leadership roles at McKinsey both firm wide and at office levels. He specialized in strategy, organization, and governance issues of large institutions. Jon worked with the top executives of leading companies in financial services, energy, electronics, industrial products, consumer products, medical products, and forest products. He also consulted with many public institutions, including Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital, the Columbia Business School Advisory Council, and was instrumental in launching both the New York City Partnership and Miami 2000.
