Elizabeth Pinchot is an executive coach, consultant and author, with 30 years of rich and relevant experience to bring to her clients. For the last decade, as co-founder and President of Pinchot & Company, she has coached and trained senior executives in many large organizations as diverse as the U.S Forest Service, Canadian National Railroad, a large computer company, and the N.Y. Stock Exchange. She has coached hundreds of intrapreneurs within Fortune 100 companies within leadership development programs. She has coached entrepreneurs in many startups: for example, both high tech and social service companies in Moscow, several Silicon Valley startups, and many consulting companies. She has advised the Executive Directors and senior staff of many nonprofit companies in a consulting capacity, and has also chaired three boards of directors, in one organization for ten years.
As President of her own small consulting company, she has been responsible for the successful development of dozens of employees In earlier years she was a staff clinician in an out-patient clinic delivering psychological services to individuals, groups and families. She also maintained a private practice of counseling individuals. Prior to Pinchot & Company, Mrs. Pinchot also co-founded and ran several businesses, including a manufacturing business and a teacher training center, and was a founding staff member of the first computer-assisted education project, a joint venture of IBM and Stanford University. Mrs. Pinchot attended Wellesley College, graduated from Stanford University in philosophy and psychology (1968), received a MS from the University of Oregon in education and child development (1970), and another MS from Goddard College in Counseling Psychology (1986). She is the co-author with Gifford Pinchot of The Intelligent Organization: Engaging the Talent and Initiative of Everyone in the Workplace (Berrett-Kohler, 1994).
