His consulting practice is focused on work with leading media, consumer products,and e-commerce companies. He writes on media and strategy and is the coauthor of two articles published in the Harvard Business Review, including the prize-winning "Strategy and the New Economics of Information". He is a graduate of Cornell University, where he earned an A.B. in economics and mathematics with distinction. He received his M.B.A. with honors from the University of Chicago and earned his Ph.D. in economics from Yale University.
