Founder of The Inventure Group, Richard Leider is considered by many to be a true master and pioneer in the field of life coaching. He is an internationally respected speaker, life coach and author, who has written or co-written five books—The Inventurers, Life Skills, Repacking Your Bags, The Power of Purpose and Whistle While You Work. The book, Repacking Your Bags is an international best-seller published in 15 languages.
Richard is a frequent keynote speaker at many business and association conferences and has designed and delivered programs throughout the world for clients such as American Express, Pfizer, Northwestern Mutual and the Mayo Clinic. A certified Master Career Counselor, Richard was named a fellow in the National Career Development Association, its highest distinction. Richard also holds a master's degree in counseling psychology from the University of Northern Colorado and was named by the Minnesota Career Development Association as one of the top 10 most influential people in the career development field. Richard's work received recognition from the Bush Foundation, where he was awarded a Bush Fellowship to study "the power of purpose."
Along with his coaching and speaking pursuits, Richard leads walking safaris in East Africa, where he helped found the Dorobo Fund for leadership and conservation. He passionately believes that each of us is born with purpose and that his purpose is coaching individuals and leaders to discover their purpose. |
