Chairman of Board Performance Limited, has wide international experience in Corporate Governance and Board Development. He started as one of a small team founded in 1974 to launch GEC's Developing Senior Managers Programme and has run many in-house director development programmes including one for Lloyds TSB plc. He has worked with boards in the private, public, charities and NGO sectors in Europe, the US, Asia, Australia and Africa. He has chaired private boards in the UK, Hong Kong and Singapore. He is Visiting Professor in Corporate Governance at The Management School, Imperial College, London University; and Senior Associate at the Judge Institute, University of Cambridge. His books include The Learning Organisation; The Fish Rots from The Head; Twelve Organisational Capabilities; Developing Strategic Thought; and his latest book is Thin On Top: Why Corporate Governance Matters, published in early 2003. |
